The "Monofilter" is a hybrid filtration device that takes advantage of the strengths of both "gravity filtration systems" and "pressure filtration systems." Due to the drop in treated water stored at the top of the filtration tower, backwashing is possible without the need for a backwash pump. With pressure filtration, the water flow rate can be increased, allowing for a smaller tower diameter compared to conventional systems.
