Thin, with high adhesion and reliability, a strong adhesive double-sided tape that achieves 1.5 to 2 times the performance of conventional double-sided tape!
KGK Joint Research Chemical's three-layer simultaneous coating technology (molecular gradient film coating technology) is a special lamination film formation technique that enhances intermolecular attraction by gradient film formation (stepwise film formation) from the center layer to the outer layer using the same or different types of resin solutions, creating a very strong bond.
By using this technology to produce double-sided tape, we can achieve performance that was difficult with conventional double-sided tapes (such as non-woven fabric and film substrate double-sided tapes).
Molecular gradient film double-sided tape and adhesive films are designed to maximize bonding with a special adhesive at the interface of the adhered material (the outer adhesive layer), where the total thickness of the adhesive (which depends on adhesive strength) is reinforced. Additionally, they can relieve stress from warping of the adhered material and external impacts or load stress through the molecular weight gradient between layers. In other words, the entire thickness of the tape contributes complexly and powerfully to the characteristics of the polymer and the adhesion to the interface of the adhered material, allowing for 1.5 to 2 times the adhesive strength, heat resistance, and viscoelasticity compared to conventional double-sided tapes.
