Our company will hold a seminar on "Domestic and International Policy Trends Toward Realizing a Hydrogen Society."
Hydrogen is a clean energy source that does not emit CO2 during combustion and can be produced from various resources, contributing to improved energy security. Additionally, it is suitable for long-term storage and long-distance transportation, making hydrogen a focal point worldwide as a key solution for carbon neutrality. Currently, in Japan, efforts toward realizing a hydrogen society are accelerating, with discussions ongoing regarding related legislation and the rational approach to hydrogen safety. This lecture will provide a detailed explanation of the latest domestic and international policy trends and the current status and direction of research and development efforts by NEDO.
