Elimination of the bridge caused by the butterfly valve effect.

This is an introduction to the implementation case of the bridge breaker "Brodisk."

This is an introduction to the case studies of the bridge breaker "Brodisk." Unlike other bridge breakers, it does not cause the powder particles to degas due to impacts or vibrations, preventing strong blockages. Additionally, it does not damage the tank. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog. 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination. The silicone disk of this equipment is exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. We also have a dedicated controller available. *We have published numerous case studies on our website. You can check them via the link below.

Prevention of bridge formation in the rice bran tank.

Easily and cost-effectively solve powder particle rat holes! It is also extremely effective against the bridge phenomenon!

A bridging phenomenon occurred inside the rice bran silo at the rice milling factory, leading to poor discharge of the bran. Traditionally, this issue was addressed using air blast methods or knockers, but for the first time, our company's bridge breaker, the air aeration pad method (Brodisk), has been adopted. This has enabled a more stable extraction of bran compared to before. It easily resolves powder and granular rat holes at a low cost, which cannot be effectively solved by air knockers or electromagnetic or air vibrators. Of course, it is also highly effective against bridging phenomena. If you have any troubles or issues regarding the outflow or discharge of powder and granules, please feel free to consult us first. There are many cases that can be resolved more easily than you might think. [Overview] ■ Silo capacity: 20 m³ ■ Cause of bridging phenomenon: Condensation due to material properties and temperature differences * For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. * Our website features numerous implementation examples, which can be checked via the link below.

Elimination of rat holes in the recycled gypsum hopper.

Introducing a case where the rat hole issue in the recycled gypsum hopper has been resolved!

As a measure against rat holes in the hopper of the bulk bag weighing and supply device, we have installed our bridge breaker "Brodisk." For a hopper with a diameter of approximately 1000mm, it is common to install 4 standard Brodisk units (BD-15 type). In this case, although the powder is relatively free-flowing, the moisture content is high, so we installed 8 Brodisk units (BD-15 type) closely. The controller can be the same as the one used for the installation of 4 units, so the total cost is also limited. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. *We have many examples of implementations on our website, which you can check via the link below.

0132 Measures to Prevent Blockage of Rounded Corner Shots

Effective in resolving dehydration cake blockages! Problem solved with the installation of a Brody disk.

The bridge breaker is often used to prevent rat holes and bridges in bulk materials. There are cases where it is used for dewatered cake-like materials discharged from decanters or filter presses. This time, we received an inquiry to resolve the issue of "dewatered cakes frequently clogging in the vertical rounded chute." Dewatered cakes are considerably more challenging compared to bulk materials, and after explaining past successful cases, we proceeded with testing the "Brodie Disk," which yielded good results. [Overview] ■ Chute dimensions - Upper: 500×500 - Lower: 300A - Height: 500 * For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. * Our website features numerous implementation examples, which can be checked via the link below.

0154 Bridge elimination at the top of the screw feeder.

Based on past experiences, we provide guidance on suitable installation locations and operating examples for each case!

At the wood biomass-related facility, we resolved the bridging issue occurring at the top of the discharge screw feeder of the wood powder silo by introducing aeration and vibration bridge breakers as proposed by our company. It seems that the customer frequently experienced bridging since the initial installation of the equipment, and only the amount necessary for discharge was fed in to minimize the occurrence of bridging. However, even so, bridging phenomena occurred with a certain frequency, and when it got clogged, it was addressed by poking it from above with a stick. The introduction of the blow disk improved the discharge troubles and freed the operators from the dangerous task of addressing the issue from the top of the silo. 【Overview Conditions】 ■ About the Silo - Approximately 5000mm (depth) × approximately 3000mm (width), with a bifurcated lower part each having a discharge screw. ■ Location of Bridging Occurrence - Between 500-1000mm above the screw. ■ Material - Wood powder, 5mm mesh screened product, moisture content 30-50% (varies by season). * For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. * Our website features numerous implementation examples, which can be checked via the link below.

0508 Example of Rat Hole Solution for Incineration Ash

Sequentially turn on two Brodisks with a time delay! A case of resolving a problem.

The incineration ash is said to form a rat hole shape in the dust collector hopper, so we would like to introduce a case where our bridge breaker "Brodisk" was adopted as a countermeasure. The arrangement of the Brodisk consists of three units on one side, with a total of 11 units installed, as only one of the four sides has an LS. In this case, the following details were used to resolve the issue. 【Usage Overview】 ■ Hopper dimensions: Approximately 2000×2000 ■ Target material: Incineration ash (quicklime) ■ Existing countermeasure: Air injection in the discharge direction (ineffective against rat holes) ■ Control - The Brodisk is activated sequentially with a time delay, with two units (only one at one location) controlled by a controller that incorporates six solenoid valves. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0523 Attached to a small hopper for quicklime.

Easy and economical installation! Introducing cases where troubles were resolved by the Brody Disk.

It was reported that a bridge occurs in the small hopper for quicklime, and we installed our BroaDisk. While using a vibrating bridge breaker improved the overall powder surface level, it seems that the outflow issues were not resolved. However, the troubles were easily solved with the BroaDisk. This equipment is easy to install and economical, but placement is important. Please feel free to contact us when needed. 【Case Overview】 ■ Hopper dimensions: approximately 600×600 (2 vertical sides, 2 inclined sides) ■ Discharge: screw feeder ■ Equipment placement: one BroaDisk (standard type) on each inclined surface, totaling 2 ■ Material: a chemical primarily composed of quicklime ■ Storage amount: approximately 100KG *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0524 At the recycling plant

Install a total of 12 standard Brodisk units with varying heights, and sequentially turn on the air with a time delay for every two units!

We would like to introduce a case where a BroaDisk was adopted in the additive storage tank of a recycling plant to promote powder flow. It seems that the existing silo of this user had other bridge breakers (air rators) installed, but there were issues including durability, which led to the adoption of our product. A total of 12 standard BroaDisks (BD-15 type) were installed at varying heights, and the BroaDisks are activated in sequence with a time delay, two at a time, using a controller equipped with six solenoid valves. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material: Filtration Additive ■ Silo Diameter: φ3000 ■ Discharge Diameter: 200A 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination. The silicone disk of this equipment excels in strength and durability. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. A dedicated controller is also available.

0546 Solving the bridge of urethane fine powder

We recommend the installation of three blow discs near the discharge area, which has resolved the bridging issue.

We received your consultation regarding the issues during the regular maintenance of the plant. Although there are measures in place to address bridging, such as the installation of knockers and aeration equipment, bridging is occurring further down, and you would like to resolve this during the maintenance. Currently, the bridge breaker is only located in the middle of the cone section, and there are no measures near the crucial discharge area. Therefore, we recommended and installed three Bro-Disk (BD-15) units near the discharge area. As a result, there is no longer a need for manual hammering or similar actions to eliminate bridging, and operations are proceeding smoothly. 【Product Specifications】 ■ Bro-Disk: BD-15S-B x 3 ■ Controller: C-SV1 x 1 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
