Q: After setting the manual handle to the specified position, it may unintentionally move, causing the opening degree to change. What is a way to prevent such a manual handle from moving? A: The GEMU manual diaphragm valves model 653 and 654 have a specification with a handle lock that can fix the handle in the specified position, allowing for adjustment of the opening degree only when necessary. *There is also an electric specification that uses a solenoid valve for locking, rather than a mechanical one. How much do I need to turn the handle for it to close? Solved!!
Aren't you worried about how much to tighten the handle before it closes, and end up tightening it too much? Over-tightening the handle can lead to damage to the diaphragm that stops the fluid. This product comes standard with a system called "Seal Adjuster," which allows you to adjust the fully closed position of the valve! By using this system, you can achieve: 1. Prevention of diaphragm failure due to over-rotation of the handle 2. Adjustment of flow rate.
