Digital signage that can directly appeal to a large number of unspecified people in the streets using videos. It is now attracting attention as a new advertising medium following television and the internet. Abix has formed a business partnership with Opt, Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo). A completely new concept advertising service using video billboards has been launched. The newly started service is an affiliate advertising model where advertisers pay advertising fees to vision owners managing the digital signage based on the number of times the video ads are aired. This is the first attempt of its kind in Japan.
