Air Sweep: A New System for Resolving Material and Powder Blockages (Numerous Materials Available)

As an alternative to knocker vibrators! Highly effective for "difficult-to-discharge materials" such as wet powders, viscous powders, and bulk materials. Also aimed at preventing occupational accidents.

"Air Sweep" is a system that solves clogs in containers used for storing materials and powders by injecting high-pressure, large-volume compressed air or inert gas along the inner walls of the container. This process lifts and stirs the materials adhered to the walls. <We completely solve the following issues!> - Slow discharge leading to decreased productivity - Discharge stops, causing product quality variations - Risk of workplace accidents - Unnecessary labor costs - Noise issues from knockers and vibrators It demonstrates high effectiveness even for difficult-to-discharge materials such as wet powders, viscous powders, and lumped materials. It is also designed with hygiene considerations, making it suitable for applications in the food industry. 【Features】 ■ Effective for difficult-to-discharge products that cannot be resolved by vibrators, knockers, or blow discs ■ Resolves clogs inside the container and cleans the internal surfaces ■ Addresses issues such as bridging, arching, and rat holes ★ We offer improvement proposals ★ If you provide the following information, we will submit an "Improvement Proposal" summarizing product selection and effective installation methods for the container. - Material name - Container drawings (hand-drawn or punch diagrams are acceptable) - Available air (gas) pressure

[Example] A method for resolving cement material clogging, more effective than a blaster.

By bursting sequence-controlled compressed air at intervals of 10 to 15 seconds, the material is lifted off the wall and stirred, completely solving the material clogging problem!

**Problem** In cement manufacturing, crushed stone is mixed with iron ore and fly ash and melted in a kiln at a high temperature of 2700 degrees. One of the byproducts of this process is clinker. Clinker consists of gray marble-sized balls that pass through a cooler, are crushed, and mixed with other materials to be used as a binder in cement. Clinker is sticky at high temperatures and prone to wear, making it easy to adhere to containers and chutes. Heidelberg Cement attempted to blast the blocks with two air blasters, but it was unsuccessful. To solve this problem, human intervention was still necessary. "We were breaking up the material in the tube with long sticks." **Solution** Heidelberg Cement needed a more reliable material flow activation device that could eliminate all clumps of material. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Reference Data on Aerodynamics

Principles of Pascal and absolute pressure! Publication on basic aerodynamics terminology!

This document introduces reference data in aerodynamics. "Aerodynamics" is the study of the mechanical properties of gases. In industrial applications dealing with gases, compressed air is commonly used, and the mechanical properties of interest are pressure, volume, and temperature. This document discusses the relationships between these properties and some basic terminology in aerodynamics. We encourage you to read it. [Contents (partial)] ■ Principles of aerodynamics ■ Explanation of terms used ■ Valve response time ■ Flow coefficient ■ Standard tests *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case] Solving cement blockage with air sweep.

In the Philippines, where humidity is very high, cement materials that had solidified due to moisture in the air were being knocked out of silos, but that is no longer necessary!

Air Sweep instantaneously releases compressed air in a 360-degree direction along the inner walls of the material container, powerfully resolving strong powder blockages. This case introduces the resolution of blockage issues at a cement plant in the very humid Philippines. Due to the high moisture content in the air, which solidified the cement material, knockers and vibrators were introduced, but ultimately, workers had to "hammer the silo." As a countermeasure, 12 units of the Air Sweep model VA-51 were installed. The blockage problem that had troubled the company for years was resolved in just four days! Furthermore, the "noise" problem associated with knockers and vibrators was also eliminated. This customer plans to expand the energy-efficient Air Sweep to other plants as well.
