Using a ball-on-disk type friction and wear testing machine! Test results for high heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloys/titanium are published.
This document includes a comparison of various heat treatment conditions for precipitation hardening systems, various stainless steels, and high alloys in friction and wear characteristic tests (ball-on-disk, pin-on-disk).
Using a ball-on-disk type friction and wear testing machine, we measured the friction force and wear amount. The specific wear rate was calculated using the mass loss method, and a comparison of the specific wear rates for different material combinations was conducted.
Please take a moment to read it.
