Introducing a case of organic solvent poisoning during non-regular operations in metal cleaning equipment.
While a basket was rotating in the washing tank of the cleaning device, it came loose, causing the products being cleaned to scatter inside the tank. A worker entered the cleaning device to pick up the scattered products. However, since they entered while there was still about half of the cleaning solution remaining, they inhaled the vapor of dichloromethane contained in the cleaning solution and were exposed. The worker lost consciousness after inhaling the vapor of the cleaning solution and was found in a state caught on a hanger inside the cleaning device by the cleaning operator, who rescued them. They were diagnosed with dichloromethane poisoning by a doctor and took 15 days off work. [Recommendations] ■ Measuring gas concentration is effective for confirming adequate ventilation. ■ Using a personal PID monitor for chemical risk assessment is recommended. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
Body weight 390g (including battery) Compact design
■ It can switch between combustible gas and refrigerant gas detection with one unit. By replacing the sensor at the probe tip, it is possible to switch between combustible gas detection and refrigerant gas detection. ● The level is displayed with an LED. ● It can provide audio alerts (with mute function). ● The probe tip lights up according to the gas level. ● It performs automatic zero calibration, eliminating the need for regular calibration. ● It is an automatic suction type.

MI1MGD-NO2 is a nitrogen dioxide gas detector with data logger functionality.
You can save 100,000 data points of date, time, and gas concentration at a logging interval set between 5 and 9999 seconds, and you can save 100 data points for alarms and bump test data. The log data can be transferred to a computer using the software included with the device and a USB cable, allowing you to view the data in Excel format.
MI1MGD-HCN-1 is a multi-gas detector with IECEx/ATEX/EMC certification and a rating of IP68.
The MicMeta is suitable for use in coal mines due to its explosion-proof rating of Ex ia I Ma and Ex ia IIC T4. It is lightweight and compact, featuring two easy-to-use buttons. The standard gas types supported are Multi 4 (CO, H2S, O2, LEL), but it can also support hundreds of other gases with optional customization. Additionally, it can be equipped with wireless functionality, allowing users to access data remotely. By using the standard data logger, real-time data and alarm events can be directly exported to a PC.
A portable device with an alarm that can detect seven types of gases: oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, chlorine, and hydrogen cyanide.
You can set alarms based on gas concentration. When the gas concentration in the work environment reaches the alarm level, a loud alarm sound and flashing lights will notify you. Alarms for STEL (Short-Term Exposure Limit) and TWA (Time-Weighted Average) according to the American Conference of Governmental and Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) standards are also set, and the alarms will activate automatically if those values are exceeded. Vibration alarms are also available as an option. To prevent work accidents caused by oxygen deficiency or toxic gases, we recommend using a compact multi-gas detector. It operates on AA batteries, which have a long lifespan, allowing for approximately 2000 hours of use on a single battery replacement. To continuously record gas concentrations, a data logger function with 4000 memory and RS232C output can be added as an option.
Combine the necessary sensors from oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, chlorine, hydrogen cyanide, and combustible gases, up to a maximum of four.
The gas concentration alarm settings can be easily configured, and the alarm sound and LED flashlight will blink at the specified concentration. Vibration alarms are also available as an option. Using AA alkaline batteries, it can operate for over 30 hours, and with the included rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery, it can be used continuously for up to 16 hours. It is capable of measuring high and low concentrations of flammable gases, non-flammable gases, and inert gases. To continuously record gas concentrations, a 4000 memory data logger function and RS232C output can be added as options.
