Here is an introduction to the drive methods for the "Elikuroido Gear." Since gear pumps are of the positive displacement type, unlike spiral pumps, they can transfer a volume proportional to the rotational speed at any RPM. There are "direct drive methods" where the pump and the prime mover are driven via a shaft coupling, and "belt drive methods" where the drive is typically reduced through a belt. Additionally, the "continuously variable transmission drive method" is used when there is a need for continuous flow conversion during operation, utilizing a continuously variable transmission to change the rotational speed through direct or belt drive.
