Super Hoop (KH785) High Strength Shear Reinforcement Bar

Achieve reduced assembly costs and shortened construction periods! Compared to ordinary rebar, strength is three times greater while the amount of rebar used is reduced!

Super Hoop is a high-strength rebar certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, with a yield point of 785 N/mm² and a tensile strength of 930 N/mm². It has nearly three times the strength of ordinary rebar and is primarily used as high-strength shear reinforcement in columns and beams of RC structures. 【Features】 ◆ Reduced rebar usage compared to ordinary rebar, leading to lower assembly costs and shorter construction periods ◆ Alleviation of congestion in rebar placement, resulting in improved concrete fillability ◆ Less variation in strength, with good uniformity of mechanical properties *For more details, please contact us or download the PDF for further information.

High-strength shear reinforcement bars Ulubon, "New cutoff calculation formula" applied.

Acquisition of the "new calculation formula for cutoff length" for "high-strength shear reinforcement bar Ulbon 1275" enables further cost and schedule reductions at construction sites.

The 'High-Strength Shear Reinforcement Bar Ulbon 1275' is a deformed PC steel bar certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, with a yield point of 1275 N/mm² and a tensile strength of 1275 N/mm². Compared to conventional ordinary rebar (SD bars), it can achieve a design stress up to four times greater, significantly reducing the amount of rebar used and contributing to cost and schedule reductions for customers (resource conservation, CO2 reduction). This time, we obtained performance evaluation from the Better Living Foundation for the calculation formula of the required bond length for the cutoff of the second main bar of beams using 'Ulbon 1275'. By using this new calculation formula, it has become possible to reduce costs (shortening the length of the second main bar and reducing the number of joints) and shorten construction time (reducing installation and inspection work hours). - It is possible to reduce the number of joints by 30-50% compared to conventional methods. - The reduction in joint locations leads to decreased installation and inspection work hours. - We have prepared a calculation tool (utilizing CSV data) for calculating cutoff lengths. *Cost comparisons with other products can be calculated. Please feel free to contact us.

Super Hoop (KH685) High Strength Shear Reinforcement Bar

Compared to ordinary rebar, strength is doubled and the amount of rebar used is reduced! Achieving reduced assembly costs and shortened construction time!

Super Hoop is a high-strength rebar certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, with a yield point of 685 N/mm² and a tensile strength of 860 N/mm², possessing twice the strength of ordinary rebar. It is primarily used as high-strength shear reinforcement in columns and beams of reinforced concrete structures. The design method complies with the new RC standards (Reinforced Concrete Structural Calculation Standards and Commentary - 2010), allowing for economical structural calculations. As a result, the amount of rebar used is reduced, and assembly costs can be lowered. 【Features】 ◆ Compared to coil materials, it does not experience twisting or warping, and has excellent processing accuracy. ◆ As a non-heat-treated high-strength rebar, it exhibits superior tensile strength and elongation after welding. ◆ There is minimal variation in strength, and the uniformity of mechanical properties is excellent. *For more details, please contact us or download the PDF for further information.

Spiral shear reinforcement bars for cast-in-place piles

The unique high-strength shear reinforcement for piles contributes to the reduction of the pile cross-section.

This is a spiral shear reinforcement bar used as shear reinforcement for cast-in-place piles. The only high-strength shear reinforcement bar that has received certification and general evaluation from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is "Ulvon 1275(R)." 【Features】 - Reducing the pile cross-section allows for cost reduction and shorter construction periods. - Using high-strength shear reinforcement bars significantly improves deformation capacity. - The diameter of the shear reinforcement bars can be reduced compared to using ordinary rebar, resulting in a decrease in the amount of rebar used. Additionally, the workability of the concrete is improved. - Since on-site welding is not required, work can be carried out even in rainy weather, ensuring consistent quality. - The strength of the piles is increased, and performance is enhanced.

"High-strength shear reinforcement bar Ulbon 1275" additional new line diameter U11.8.

Added a new wire diameter U11.8 to the 'High-Strength Shear Reinforcement Bar Ulubon 1275.' By applying the optimal wire diameter according to the project, further reduction in rebar quantity is possible.

The "High Strength Shear Reinforcement Bar Ulbon 1275" is a deformed PC steel bar certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, with a yield point of 1275 N/mm² and a tensile strength of 1275 N/mm². Compared to conventional ordinary rebar (SD bars), it can achieve a design stress up to four times greater, significantly reducing the amount of rebar used and contributing to improved work efficiency, cost reduction, and shortened construction periods at job sites (resource conservation, CO2 reduction). With the addition of the new bar diameter U11.8 to the lineup, further design options tailored to various member cross-sectional widths have become possible. The new bar diameter U11.8 demonstrates effectiveness in column sections of 1,100 mm square for heights of 30 to 60 m (levels 10 to 20), allowing for approximately a 10% further reduction in rebar quantity compared to conventional diameters. * The new bar diameter U11.8 has obtained certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and evaluation from the Japan Architectural Center (general construction method and welded joint method).
