The IC-DPR4C PLUS is a digital simple radio registered station (new wave compatible product) manufactured by Icom (ICOM). The supported channels are 82 channels (30 existing digital simple radio channels + an increase of 52 channels compatible with the new wave). Additionally, the upper air channels are 15 channels (5 existing upper air channels + an increase of 10 channels compatible with the new wave). The maximum transmission output is also 2W, which allows for better signal propagation compared to specific low-power transceivers, enabling communication over a wider area. It supports Bluetooth accessories, allowing for wireless operation of audio accessories such as earphone microphones and speaker microphones. It is equipped with a sub-channel PTT function that allows for instant switching between two call groups using the main PTT (transmit) switch and a second PTT switch. Furthermore, it is possible to register a third call group on the main PTT, allowing for operation with up to three call groups. Please note that while the third call group can receive audio and transmit audio when responding, it cannot send audio for calls to that channel.
