[Data] A class that enhances students' interest and engagement using a thermal imaging camera.
Adopted for meteorological observations and experiments, the infrared thermography camera 'FLIRC3' has been active as a tool that allows for a visible understanding of phenomena.
~For those who want to help students acquire knowledge through experiential learning!~ This document discusses how the use of thermal imaging cameras in weather observation and experiments enhances students' interest and engagement in their classes. (Photos of actual thermal imaging cameras and classroom activities are also included.) In classes using thermal imaging cameras, students choose their own themes and measure phenomena with the cameras. The Wi-Fi feature allows for easy transfer to computers and the creation of measurement reports. [Contents] - Knowledge of thermography can be applied in various fields after entering society. - Two students share one camera to conduct observations and experiments. - The inclusion of Wi-Fi functionality was a significant reason for its adoption. - With a thermal imaging camera, various measurements are possible depending on the ideas. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
