KEL Corporation (Headquarters: Tama City, Tokyo, President: Akira Kasuga) is developing a high-speed transmission floating connector "JG Series" equivalent to PCIe 5.0. <Product Overview> - It is a floating connector with a signal terminal pitch of 0.5mm. - The transmission characteristics aim for signals equivalent to PCIe 5.0. - The signal terminals range from 40 to 240 pins, and the power terminals have a maximum of 8 pins. - The presence or absence of a shell can be selected. - The connection method is stack connection. - The stack height ranges from 10 to 35mm. - The floating amount allows for movement of ±1.0mm in the XY direction (10 to 20mm) and ±1.2mm in the XY direction (20 to 35mm). - The power terminals are expected to handle 10A per terminal. - The operating temperature range of the connector is from -40°C to +125°C (including temperature rise due to current flow). <Application> - Automotive equipment market: Domain controllers, ECUs, etc. *Please note that since this is a product under development, specifications, shapes, and series names may change without notice.
