Our company was founded in 1897. At the time of its establishment, we were engaged in the import and processing of natural products such as ivory and tortoiseshell, but we adapted to the changing times and began to handle plastic materials. Those who were involved in the company at its inception may not be able to imagine its current form, but I believe that our ability to evolve with the times is one of our strengths that connects to today's values. Our vision for the future is to aim to be the best company in the market for processed plastic products. There are various metrics to evaluate this, such as sales, market share, and profits, but I believe it is important to be the best not only in financial data but also in our adaptability to the needs of the times, such as "environmental" considerations, and in employee satisfaction. We need to build on our past achievements as a strong foundation and make efforts to strengthen that foundation further.
