The trigger for starting my business was the terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001. I was shocked by the sight of people jumping from the high-rise buildings that had lost power, and I thought, "I want to do a job that protects people's lives," which led me to establish my company in October of the same year. Since its founding in 2001, I have been working on the development of high-performance phosphorescent tape and phosphorescent signs, and now we hold over 90% market share in the field of high-brightness phosphorescent signs in Japan. Furthermore, in recent years, we have successfully developed the "α-Vega" series of ultra-high-brightness waterproof phosphorescent pigments aimed at the next generation, and have obtained a Japanese patent for it. At LTI Corporation, we aim to realize a sustainable society through PLC (phosphorescent) materials, manufacturing products that contribute to a safe and secure lifestyle and the future of the global environment.
