It was very difficult to set the workpiece using a robot in a leak test where a clamping mechanism is essential to seal the workpiece. However, by using a six-axis robot, we were able to gain a certain degree of freedom in movement, which allowed us to resolve the issue. Additionally, for the loading and unloading, we use air cylinders to keep the slide end in its original position, which results in a design that minimizes displacement in the Y (X) axis. We are moving away from conventional semi-automatic machines (manual workpiece setting) and achieving online automation.
