Free membership registrationThe manufacturer Total Phase of the Beagle USB 5000 series is a regular participant in USB Compliance Tests. As participants know, they have been enhancing the quality of their products by testing various devices from different companies each time. Thanks to advancements in semiconductor technology, they achieved high performance at about half the price of conventional models, and began selling their products worldwide in November 2010. The EZ-USB FX3 (CYUSB3014) universal USB 3.0 controller announced by Cypress in April 2011 revitalized a market that had stagnated due to the lack of dedicated devices and limited applications. At Tachinodenko, we recommend the Beagle USB 5000 for users adopting (including planned) the CYUSB3014. A bundled sale with the Cypress EZ-USB FX3 DVK CYUSB3KIT-001 (currently in stock) is also possible. In September 2012, we released the v2 series, which allows the use of USB 3.0 for connection with analysis PCs. This added high-speed transfer and the ability to synchronize clock levels across multiple analyzers.

Free membership registrationYou can use it for the analysis of Full and Low Speed USB. There are also Beagle USB 480, Beagle USB 480 Power, which support up to the higher USB 2.0 (HS) in the same series, and Beagle USB 5000 v2, which supports USB 3.0 (SS). Although there are some functional limitations, the same GUI software can be used, making it efficient. Beagle USB features a function called live functionality. This means real-time display that sequentially shows the state of the bus, and it goes a step further by allowing analysis work to be performed during capture. This enables more efficient work compared to tools that cannot do anything until the capture is finished. Particularly during long captures (up to over 20GB on a Windows 7 64-bit PC with 32GB), being able to view necessary parts without stopping the capture is effective for troubleshooting rare issues. Another feature is that the API is publicly available. This allows users to create their own applications similar to the included GUI, which is convenient for integrating into special analysis or inspection devices.

Free membership registrationThe Beagle I2C/SPI(J) supports over 20GB of capture at maximum. It is not just a simple capturing tool; unlike old-fashioned analyzers that cannot do anything until the capture is complete, it offers live features that allow for display, search, and filtering during capture. For more details, please contact Tateno Denno. It is a standard stock item. The Beagle I2C/SPI(J) is a protocol analyzer that fits in the palm of your hand and can monitor industry-standard I2C, SPI, and buses in real-time. With a maximum sampling rate of 50MHz (20ns), it can display bit timing, making it invaluable for analyzing many issues that arise during the development of these buses. In addition to its user-friendly GUI, an API is also available, allowing for the construction of custom analyzers with special features or integration into product inspection equipment, which is another notable characteristic. It also includes SMBus decoding functionality and can be used for simple monitoring of MDIO (for more details about MDIO, please contact Tateno Denno).

Free membership registrationThe main feature of the Beagle USB 480, a USB 2.0/1.1 protocol analyzer, is its high performance. Thanks to improvements in LSI and PC performance, it is easier to use and has overall better performance than other USB 2.0 analyzers that were sold at around 2 million yen during the early days of the standard's release. The latest analyzer GUI software, Beagle Data Center Ver7.xx, is included with the product. In the Data Center, it is possible to display while decoding classes during capture, as well as perform analysis tasks that include filtering and searching. The device has an internal buffer, but the actual capture capacity depends on the memory capacity of the PC side as long as the buffer does not overflow. Nowadays, it is possible to obtain a notebook PC with 16GB of memory for under 100,000 yen. A PC with 32GB of memory can handle large captures exceeding 20GB. Since the data is in memory, searches can be performed at speeds that are incomparable to those of HDDs. Additionally, the USB 3.0 analyzer Beagle USB 5000 v2, USB-PDA, Beagle I2C/SPI (TP320121), and Komodo CAN Duo can all be used with the same software, making it convenient to operate with the same methods.

Free membership registrationIntroduction to TP240141C Aardvark If you want to control or read/write I2C/SPI devices, please consider Aardvark. The strength of this product is demonstrated by its continued adoption as a standard tool worldwide since its release in 2003, with virtually no changes to the hardware. Some evaluation boards from semiconductor companies like Renesas and Analog Devices have connectors that allow direct connection to AARDVARK. To ensure you can use it right after purchase, it comes with a USB cable, a 10-pin individual signal wire cable, and a resource DVD. It is compatible with Windows (from XP to 11), Mac OS, and Linux. Since I2C and SPI are independent signals, one Aardvark can be connected to both the I2C and SPI buses, allowing control of both from a single application. Additionally, the slave operation feature is useful for testing and learning. Repairs are handled as much as possible by the authorized domestic distributor, Tateno Denno Co., Ltd., including units that have reached the manufacturer's repair period. It is widely used not only in development but also in production and inspection equipment. Including optional boards with ROM or ROM sockets and test clips (cables), it is usually in stock domestically.
