New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. has started mass production of the reflective type rotation and position detection sensor 'NJL5820R', which is suitable for detecting rotation direction and position with a digital 2-phase output type. By combining a newly designed photodetector IC with a high-output infrared LED, we have achieved low power consumption.
