IPCO Company Profile
This is the Japanese subsidiary of IPCO AB, which is headquartered in Sweden. We contribute to improving factory productivity with steel belts and process equipment.
Our company became independent from Sandvik and was established as a standalone company in 2017. We are a global company with 600 employees worldwide. We will continue the history of the steel belt business that has been ongoing since 1901 during the Sandvik era, maintaining our factories and personnel while expanding our business more broadly. Our company is a member of the Wallenberg Foundation in Sweden, which is also a shareholder in many major Swedish companies.

Business Activities
At IPCO, we deeply understand our customers' production processes, what they produce, and their needs, and we work to "translate" this understanding into proposals for production processes that enhance our customers' productivity. Steel belts are highly versatile and are widely used in applications under high temperature, low temperature, and high-pressure environments. For example, they are well-known in large presses that make plywood from chips, ovens that continuously bake bread and cookies, cooling devices that solidify melted plastic into specified shapes, film manufacturing for LCDs and printed circuit boards, and sorting devices at parcel delivery stations. In specialized fields, racing cars and tires are also tested on steel belts to gather data. The possibilities of steel belts will continue to expand infinitely.
