About Nano-Phase The development of science and technology is rapid and explosive. The patterns of semiconductors have already been miniaturized to below 50nm. Various materials, which are basic resources, are also being miniaturized. A nanometer is a unit prefix that means ten to the power of minus nine. It's surprising how close nanometers feel to us... Phase refers to "state." It can be understood as a certain substance that is physically and chemically uniform. For example, consider water. If it is in a gaseous state, it is water vapor; if it is in a liquid state, it is water; and if it is in a solid state, it is ice. These represent a certain collection of substances. As phases become smaller and reach the nanoscale, they become materials like fine particles that are even smaller than solid particles. This is what we call nano-phase materials.
