CWS stands for Coiled Wave Spring, which is a compression spring formed from flat wire. It has stability that prevents tilting when compressed and exerts a large force with a small amount of deformation, making it suitable for various applications such as miniaturization of products, quality improvement, precise force retention and control, and suppression of design errors and play. Now, as a standard product that can be delivered quickly and inexpensively from a single piece, "CWS" has been newly introduced by San-Ei Spring. 【Features of CWS】 ◎ Capable of producing large loads with small deformation The height of the "spring" can be shortened, allowing for miniaturization of products and space-saving in the "spring" section. ◎ Stable deflection (compression) Due to its structure that uniformly bears the load across the entire spring, it is strong yet does not tilt when compressed. ◎ Reduce Almost no scrap is generated in the production of CWS. *For more details, please download the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. ★ A printed version is also available. Product samples can be provided. *When downloading the catalog, please note that if you fill in anything in the "Other" section of "Reasons for Interest" other than the options provided, it will not reach us. If you have specific inquiries, please fill in the "Other" section under "Purpose."

Free membership registration"Isn't Sanko Springs the manufacturer of San-Es standard springs?" That's right, but that's not all; we are actually also skilled in "custom springs." The proportion of custom spring production in our annual output reaches 91.1% (as of 2021). It might be fair to say that we are more proficient in custom springs. Especially in the case of torsion springs made from irregular wire materials, we boast industry-leading technical expertise and production capacity. We are happy to listen to your concerns! Sanko Springs does not easily say "we can't." Please leave your "custom springs" to Sanko Springs Manufacturing!

Free membership registrationTwisted springs (kick springs, torsion springs) made using square wire, which is a type of shaped wire, have significantly stronger torque compared to springs made from regular round wire. "San-Ei Springs" boasts industry-leading technology and production capacity in this "shaped wire (square wire) twisted spring." Additionally, we have a wide range of processing tools and square wire materials, allowing for speedy prototype responses. To introduce you to our "shaped wire (square wire) twisted springs," we have created a brochure, so please take a look. We also include application examples. We have printed booklets available, so feel free to request one.

Free membership registrationCWS refers to a compression spring formed by coiling flat wire into a continuous wave shape. 【Features】 ■ The structure receives load evenly around the coil circumference, allowing for stable and parallel "deflection" (stroke) both up and down. ■ It can handle loads significantly greater than those of conventional compression springs (compression springs), enabling a lower installation height. This contributes to the miniaturization and weight reduction of products. ■ It is more suitable for smaller strokes or static use than for larger strokes. A clear example is that by replacing multiple compression springs used in the clutch section by automobile manufacturers with a single CWS, we were able to resolve issues such as "high labor costs and time-consuming assembly" and "troublesome maintenance." Additionally, compared to disc springs or wave washers punched from sheet material, it offers better yield, lower costs for mold forming, and the ability to accommodate shape changes and special plate thicknesses, making it a noteworthy alternative to disc springs and wave washers. *Since the load is smaller compared to disc springs, it cannot be simply replaced, but it can simplify complicated assembly processes depending on the application.

Free membership registrationDesigning and calculating torsion springs can be troublesome and complicated, which may be a concern for you. In response to such requests, we have newly standardized torsion springs. We offer three types with materials made of stainless steel wire, wire diameters ranging from 0.3 to 2.0 mm, inner diameters from 3 to 14 mm, and winding angles of 90°, 135°, and 180°. We maintain a total of 270 types in stock at all times and are ready to deliver immediately. We supply springs with stable performance in small quantities. ◎ How to select springs (1) Determine the inner diameter (2) Decide on the torsion angle (φd) (3) Check if the allowable torsion angle φd and allowable torque T meet the usage conditions. (4) Determine the installation space for the spring.

Free membership registrationEven a single missing spring can cause issues for functional components, but surprisingly, designing one takes a considerable amount of time, and it is not uncommon for practical problems to arise. The Suness series of free-size tensile coil springs, which allow for arbitrary adjustment of spring length, are always in stock with a total of 104 types available, including wire diameters from 0.2 to 2.6 mm and outer diameters from 3 to 30 mm, made from piano wire and stainless steel wire, and we can respond with immediate delivery. We supply springs with stable performance in small quantities. ◎ How to select springs (1) Determine the material based on the atmosphere and environment in which it will be used. (2) Decide on the required outer shape of the spring. (3) Based on dimensions for installation, determine an approximate value for the necessary free length of the spring. (4) Decide how much load is needed when the length is displaced.

Free membership registrationA spring is a functional component that can cause problems even if just one is missing, but surprisingly, designing one takes a considerable amount of time, and it is not uncommon for practical issues to arise. The San-Es series tension coil springs are available in a constant stock of 424 types, with wire diameters ranging from 0.32 to 2.3 mm, outer diameters from 3.2 to 24 mm, and materials including piano wire and stainless steel wire (excluding free-size tension springs). We respond to customer requests with an immediate delivery system. Free membership registrationThe spring is a functional component that causes problems even if just one is missing, but designing one surprisingly takes a lot of time, and it is not uncommon for this to cause practical issues. The San-Etsu series compression coil springs are always in stock with a total of 919 types, featuring wire diameters from φ0.4 to 10mm, outer diameters from φ4.5 to 80mm, and materials including piano wire and stainless steel wire. We respond to customer requests with an immediate delivery system, supplying springs with stable performance in small quantities. ◎ How to select a spring (1) Determine the material based on the atmosphere and environment in which it will be used. (2) Decide on the necessary outer diameter or inner diameter of the spring. (3) Determine the free length of the spring (the length before displacement). (4) Decide on the required load (or spring constant*1, deflection amount*2, etc. may also be acceptable). *1 Spring constant: The load obtained when the spring is displaced by 1mm (load ÷ deflection amount). *2 Deflection amount: The change that occurs when a load is applied to the spring.

Free membership registrationThe transmission of rotational force is an essential element for machines, equipment, and devices, as it has been traditionally. This flexible shaft allows for greater freedom in these applications. If certain conditions are met, it can freely (flexibly) adjust the positional relationship between the driving side and the driven side. It eliminates the need for precise alignment, which can be very troublesome in design, allowing for simple and flexible designs, thus making it cost-effective. It can accommodate a wide range of speeds, from low rotations by hand to high rotations by motor. Additionally, our company offers a standard lineup called the [Suness Standard Flex Shaft] series, which can be customized to meet waterproof, heat-resistant, or any special specifications based on these models. Basically, there are no shapes that cannot be made. Please feel free to consult us about anything. *We have a catalog that outlines the flexible shaft and includes usage examples. Please request it or view the PDF data from the download page.
