CWS stands for Coiled Wave Spring, which is a compression spring formed from flat wire. It has stability that prevents tilting when compressed and exerts a large force with a small amount of deformation, making it suitable for various applications such as miniaturization of products, quality improvement, precise force retention and control, and suppression of design errors and play. CWS refers to a compression spring formed by coiling flat wire into a continuous wave shape. 【Features】 ■ The structure receives load evenly around the coil circumference, allowing for stable and parallel "deflection" (stroke) both up and down. ■ It can handle loads significantly greater than those of conventional compression springs (compression springs), enabling a lower installation height. This contributes to the miniaturization and weight reduction of products. ■ It is more suitable for smaller strokes or static use than for larger strokes. A clear example is that by replacing multiple compression springs used in the clutch section by automobile manufacturers with a single CWS, we were able to resolve issues such as "high labor costs and time-consuming assembly" and "troublesome maintenance." Designing and calculating torsion springs can be troublesome and complicated, which may be a concern for you. In response to such requests, we have newly standardized torsion springs. We offer three types with materials made of stainless steel wire, wire diameters ranging from 0.3 to 2.0 mm, inner diameters from 3 to 14 mm, and winding angles of 90°, 135°, and 180°. We maintain a total of 270 types in stock at all times and are ready to deliver immediately. We supply springs with stable performance in small quantities. ◎ How to select springs (1) Determine the inner diameter (2) Decide on the torsion angle (φd) (3) Check if the allowable torsion angle φd and allowable torque T meet the usage conditions.
