Creating a reliable sound environment for a comfortable living space. The rapid changes in our economic society have manifested as threats to environmental destruction and the Earth's ecosystem, alongside population growth and urbanization. Now, it has become an urgent issue for each of us, as a matter of survival and coexistence, to implement environmentally friendly conservation measures. Regarding the noise and vibration issues closely related to our daily lives, including transportation systems such as roads, shinkansen, and airplanes, measures are being taken in the direction of regulating noise levels to meet environmental standards. At ACT, we advocate for a positive "sound environment design" that does not solely focus on negative concepts like "sound → vibration → regulation." Instead, we aim to preserve the "desirable" necessary sounds for residents, sometimes adding new pleasant sounds, while selectively eliminating harmful "undesirable" noises. Our philosophy is to perceive climate, geography, and urban environments from the perspective of amenities, and to envision a reliable sound environment for creating comfortable cities in harmony with the natural environment.
