一般社団法人情報通信技術委員会 Company Profile
The Telecommunications Technology Committee (TTC) aims to contribute to standardization in the field of information and communication technology and to promote its dissemination.
In October 1985, the Telecommunication Technology Committee (TTC) was established as a standardization organization to promote the further revitalization of the telecommunications sector, which had introduced market principles following the enforcement of the Telecommunications Business Act in 1985. This was in response to the Japan-U.S. telecommunications discussions held that same year, focusing on the standardization and dissemination of standards related to telecommunications in general. Subsequently, with the development of information and communication technology, the scope of standardization activities expanded, leading to a change in June 2002 to include "standardization related to information and communication networks" among its business activities, along with a name change to the "Information and Communication Technology Committee." Additionally, in line with the public interest corporation reform system, it transitioned to the "General Incorporated Association Information and Communication Technology Committee" on April 1, 2011.
