The device simply places the collected bento boxes in their original state (with leftover food inside and the lid closed) onto the entrance conveyor. The bento boxes are automatically separated into the body and lid by a special mechanism, and the lid is discharged straight to the exit side. The body is forcibly shaken to remove the leftover food using a reverse automatic shaking method, and is then discharged through a rotating chute.
