Kato Patent Office was established in 1994, with its main office in Fukuoka and a branch office in Tokyo, specializing in intellectual property. Currently, it has about 17 staff members, including 7 patent attorneys, who handle domestic and international intellectual property applications. Our office supports clients in securing and utilizing rights for their inventions, designs, and other intellectual properties across various fields, including machinery, electronics, chemistry, and software. Additionally, we not only handle trademark applications and rights acquisition but also have launched a portal site to cater to our clients' diverse needs. As globalization progresses, the demand for the protection and utilization of intellectual property with a global perspective is increasing. Our office is committed to helping clients maximize the protection and utilization of the results of their technological and product development from an intellectual property standpoint.
