The Laversab model 6300 is an RVSM pitot-static tester designed for general aviation. It performs leak checks and accuracy checks on the pitot-static systems of RVSM aircraft. Accuracy checks are typically conducted using altimeters, airspeed indicators, and VSI. The model 6300 features a large keypad and display screen on a remote unit, a removable 8-hour battery (optional), a wide operating temperature range (optional), and a "profile" feature to accelerate testing. Regular calibration is required once a year.
