We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "AI License Plate Recognition Camera LPR for ACAP" for regional revitalization aimed at tourist areas. Hakone Town has adopted the "AI License Plate Recognition Camera (LPR for ACAP)" for traffic data analysis with the goal of tourism digital transformation (DX). As part of a demonstration project to visualize the origins of tourist vehicles and to consider new approaches for tourism initiatives, an AI license plate recognition camera has been installed in front of Hakone Yumoto Station. With its high-performance license plate recognition capabilities, it is possible to understand the purpose and origin of visits. Additionally, by utilizing the reporting service, it is possible to obtain detailed information about vehicle owners, including addresses at the town level.

The "3rd AI and Artificial Intelligence EXPO [Autumn]" was held from October 26 (Wednesday) to 28 (Friday), 2022, and thanks to everyone, it concluded successfully and with great attendance.
