Founded in 1950, together with the Akihabara Electric Town.
In 1972, the wholesale division of Akihabara Radio Store Co., Ltd.'s wiring materials department was separated and established as Tominaga Electric Co., Ltd. Subsequently, in 1975, a new organization was formed by establishing Fukunaga Electric Works Co., Ltd. from the wiring materials department of Akihabara Radio Store Co., Ltd., and this has continued to the present day.
