Sick house (school) and odor countermeasures involve measuring and analyzing various indoor air pollutants according to guidelines such as the indoor concentration guideline values (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare), sick house measures under the Building Standards Act (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism), laws ensuring housing quality, standards for school environmental health (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology), and measurements related to building management laws and management standards. Issues related to "sick house syndrome" have arisen in newly built and renovated homes, schools, and care facilities. Symptoms can range from mild ones like eye irritation and sore throat to severe ones such as nausea, dizziness, and headaches. The main causes are believed to be organic compounds like formaldehyde and VOCs emitted from walls, building materials, and furniture. Additionally, the Odor Control Law designates specific odor substances (such as ammonia and methyl mercaptan) and regulates odors generated from activities in factories and businesses. Recently, complaints about odors closely related to daily life (such as those from restaurants, pets, and septic tanks) have been increasingly reported, especially in urban areas. Our company is a certified odor measurement facility. We conduct investigations, measurements, and analyses of odor substances, as well as measurements of odor concentration and odor index, using numerous certified odor judges and analytical equipment. For more details, please contact us.

Free membership registrationAnalysis of pesticide residues in food is recommended to demonstrate the "safety" that consumers seek in food and the "trust" that differentiates products, through pesticide testing at the production site and shipping, as well as analysis and risk management through quality control of raw materials. Additionally, the "Positive List System" was implemented in 2006. Under this system, standard values covering approximately 800 items are specified, and for pesticides and others for which no residue standards are set, a uniform standard (0.01 ppm) is established, prohibiting detection above a certain amount. For more details, please contact us.

Our company conducts product investigations through various analyses tailored to our customers, starting with metal analysis. Please consult us regarding the management of recycled products and the investigation of potential valuable materials. Additionally, industrial waste is subject to the "responsibility of the waste generator to properly manage it (waste generator responsibility)." We conduct various leaching tests and content tests for other industrial wastes such as waste oil, waste acid, waste alkali, as well as landfill disposal materials like sludge, ash, and soot. Please consult us regarding the necessary testing items. For more details, please contact us.

Free membership registrationRadiation and radioactivity analysis is conducted using a germanium semiconductor detector for precise nuclide analysis tests (Becquerel: Bq/kg). Comparisons and evaluations can be made using methods that comply with standard values and guidelines. It typically takes about 3 business days (with urgent reports available within 24 hours). Please inquire about the detection limit for small samples (10g or more). It is also possible to standardize the detection limits in the reports. We conduct numerous analyses for food, school lunches, drinking water, pool water, incineration ash, public facilities, and collaborative research related to radioactive substances with the Faculty of Agriculture at Yamagata University. For more details, please contact us.

Free membership registrationSoil and groundwater condition surveys and measures have become unavoidable matters in various situations such as business activities, factory relocations, and land transactions, several years after the enforcement of the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act. We will consider and implement methods that suit our clients' sites, costs, and plans, from simple soil and groundwater surveys to support related to soil measures, in a consistent system. As a designated survey organization, environmental measurement certification business, and organization obtaining specific measurement certification, we will grasp the situation, identify the causes of contamination, and consider methods tailored to the business, contributing to the reduction of corporate risks through confidentiality. (Soil contamination survey technical managers will be in charge.) Additionally, the management of asset retirement obligations began in April 2010, resulting in some changes in the handling of costs related to the environment (soil, PCB, asbestos measures). For example, it may become possible to distribute costs across different fiscal years. To mitigate corporate management risks, we recommend understanding the soil conditions at an early stage, preventing the spread of contamination, and identifying potential future costs. Please contact us for more details.
