Sick house (school) and odor countermeasures involve measuring and analyzing various indoor air pollutants according to guidelines such as the indoor concentration guideline values (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare), sick house measures under the Building Standards Act (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism), laws ensuring housing quality, standards for school environmental health (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology), and measurements related to building management laws and management standards. Issues related to "sick house syndrome" have arisen in newly built and renovated homes, schools, and care facilities. Symptoms can range from mild ones like eye irritation and sore throat to severe ones such as nausea, dizziness, and headaches. The main causes are believed to be organic compounds like formaldehyde and VOCs emitted from walls, building materials, and furniture. Additionally, the Odor Control Law designates specific odor substances (such as ammonia and methyl mercaptan) and regulates odors generated from activities in factories and businesses. Recently, complaints about odors closely related to daily life (such as those from restaurants, pets, and septic tanks) have been increasingly reported, especially in urban areas. The Waterworks Act and drinking water surveys include statutory tests such as the 50-item inspections specified by the Waterworks Act, as well as analyses tailored to customer needs, such as trace pesticide analysis. Water supply is an essential lifeline for human life. The Waterworks Act establishes water quality standards that must be maintained, ensuring safety. Radiation and radioactivity analysis is conducted using a germanium semiconductor detector for precise nuclide analysis tests (Becquerel: Bq/kg). Comparisons and evaluations can be made using methods that comply with standard values and guidelines. It typically takes about 3 business days (with urgent reports available within 24 hours). Please inquire about the detection limit for small samples (10g or more). It is also possible to standardize the detection limits in the reports. We conduct numerous analyses for food, school lunches, drinking water, pool water, incineration ash, public facilities, and collaborative research related to radioactive substances with the Faculty of Agriculture at Yamagata University. Soil and groundwater condition surveys and measures have become unavoidable matters in various situations such as business activities, factory relocations, and land transactions, several years after the enforcement of the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act. We will consider and implement methods that suit our clients' sites, costs, and plans, from simple soil and groundwater surveys to support related to soil measures, in a consistent system. As a designated survey organization, environmental measurement certification business, and organization obtaining specific measurement certification, we will grasp the situation, identify the causes of contamination, and consider methods tailored to the business, contributing to the reduction of corporate risks through confidentiality.
