Recently, our employee NGUYEN AN, who participated in the "2021 PREX Vietnam Leader Development Training," conducted an internal study session. This training was aimed at developing Vietnamese individuals working in Japanese companies into leaders who can take on core roles within the organization. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's training was held for the first time in an online format. The content of this session included: 1. This month, we welcomed two new members. Although it was their first participation, they were able to engage freely in presentations and discussions at the Techno Taiyo study session, allowing both of them to participate in their own way. The other day, we held the first book-sharing communication of the 39th term. This time, the question was about #Kaizen activities in conjunction with #5S: "We have set a policy to effectively utilize the time from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM every Friday to work on improving the workplace environment. What kind of initiatives do you think could lead to improvements in the workplace environment during this time (Friday/30 minutes)?" While listening to the specific voices of all employees, we were able to freely discuss and gain a deeper understanding of each other's working environments. "Can we implement Kaizen immediately? How do we proceed with Kaizen?" ... During this BSC, I was able to witness the wonderful spirit of everyone thinking together as one. In the previous term, we conducted cleaning activities centered around 5S patrols through the "5S Thorough Committee." Based on that, starting this term, we have changed the name of the "5S Thorough Committee" to the "Kaizen Committee" with the aim of effectively utilizing time to improve the workplace environment. The characteristics of the committee's activities are... (1) Workers on the ground take the lead and solve problems by sharing their ideas. (2) It is distinguished from "improvement," which means correcting mistakes and deficiencies. From now on, we will divide the entire company into four teams, and by determining policies and actions for each, we aim to thoroughly implement 'Kaizen' and strive for a better "tomorrow."

The ISO committee, which started in the previous term, has the objective of "establishing a company-wide quality assurance system to eliminate customer complaints," and set a goal to obtain #ISO9001 certification by September 2021. Recently, on August 26, we successfully achieved that goal! This term, the ISO committee is moving on to the next step with the aim of "realizing the implementation of an appropriate quality manual across the company," and has set a goal to conduct two internal audits by September 2022. We aim to increase customer satisfaction by ensuring that not only the members of the ISO committee but all employees are well-versed in the ISO manual.

In August 2019, our team was formed and started from scratch, and this year marks our third year of activity! Recently, at the overall management plan presentation, we shared with everyone the results so far and our commitment to work together as a team towards our fifth year of activities. Among those updates, our influencer members presented the TikTok channel, which we plan to fully utilize starting this month, in a fresh and fun manner. On September 1st, we held the 39th Management Plan Presentation. This time, to thoroughly prevent the spread of infectious diseases, it was our first event held via ZOOM. Starting from the 39th term, we restructured the company organization to be more flexible in responding to changes. We believe that a flat organization without hierarchical titles will facilitate communication among employees and allow individuals to leverage their unique strengths. Everyone, including the president, will address each other as "Mr./Ms. ○○." We have changed the departmental structure and will strive to contribute even more to society moving forward. In this new term, we shared a valuable time where employees could unite under our management philosophy and work towards being of service to our customers, starting small. Additionally, this was the first time the entire company participated in an online meeting, and while some were not accustomed to it, we conducted a test the day before, allowing us to successfully complete the event as planned. It was also a presentation that made all employees feel their #ability to adapt to change.

Reflecting on the question, "What tasks in your current work are important but not urgent?" allowed me to take a moment to look back at what I am currently doing. Everyone has different job responsibilities, but we are all employees of Techno Taiyo and share the same management philosophy. On August 20th, there was the final lecture for the second cohort of the CEO seminar. We presented our reflections on the year as part of our homework, which was to identify "our strengths, weaknesses, and how to improve on our weaknesses." Throughout the year, I was mindful of which ego state I was expressing myself from, allowing me to clearly summarize my strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, some participants took on the challenge of the ego gram once again. In the final lecture, we learned about "the interpretative power of life within our life scripts!" We discovered that any unfortunate event can be positively reframed and rewritten into a happy life script. And so on... I want to utilize this learning and growth and apply it to my future life. ------------------- President Mizuno!!
