The base material stainless steel and nickel-based alloy have been integrated through diffusion bonding using Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP). The hardness is HRC57UP, making it resistant to "scratches and dents." A significant extension of operational hours is expected. The "HIRAI" HIP LIP can restore high functionality with repairs done solely through grinding, even in the event of scratches or wear. The HIP layer can be ground down from several millimeters to several tens of millimeters until it is gone.
