Now, I would like to inform you that, as of October 1, 2013, a new company named "Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation" has been established due to the management integration of Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd. and Nippon Steel Trading Corporation. Accordingly, our company, which is a group company, will also change its name as follows. Our company started in April 2010 when two group companies of the non-ferrous division of Sumitomo Metal Industries merged to form "Sumitomo Metal Industries Material Co., Ltd."
