As methods for improving the internal quality of aluminum die casting, vacuum casting, local pressure (squeeze) method, solidification casting method, and chill venting are known, but they are not universal. The reason for this is believed to be that gas, which is agitated and finely dispersed within the plunger sleeve, cannot be removed.
