In general, the mainstream wavelength for laser processing of non-metals is 10.6μm. The lasers commonly used for "acrylic engraving" and "fine processing of paper" found online primarily correspond to this wavelength of 10.6μm. The equipment from Izumi Laser Co., Ltd. operates at a wavelength of 9μm, which is said to be more compatible with resin-based materials, particularly polyester and polyimide, compared to 10.6μm. The aforementioned general laser processing method often involves a plotter laser processing system where the beam is emitted from a nozzle, and the nozzle itself moves to create the desired shape. Izumi Laser's equipment combines two types of processing methods in one machine: this plotter laser system and another method called the galvanometer scanner system. 【Supported Materials】 ○ Resin films ○ Resin sheets ○ Elastomer-based materials ○ Foams ○ Fiber-based materials, and others For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
