The film used to package powdered or liquid contents has been a challenge for customers due to the need to improve seal strength and prevent seal peeling, as various contents are filled and leakage can occur. To address this, we reduced the risk of seal tearing by applying two seals using different heat sources. While some appearances may show two seals, the seal strength may not be sufficient, and applying two seals is safer if the goal is to reduce the risk of tearing. Since our film with these two seals has been used, there have been no issues with seal tearing, allowing for safe use. We would like to introduce a case study created at the request of a seasoning manufacturing company. The contents were packaged using kraft paper and HD sheets, but to avoid moisture in the contents, there was a request for a long HD sheet that could simultaneously package kraft paper and HD sheets for moisture-proofing within the automatic packaging process. In the film search box, we have equipment capable of winding HDPE up to a diameter of 1 meter, so we proposed a long sheet of 30,000 meters along with products that have undergone special processing. As the size of the items to be packaged increases, the width of the packaging film needs to be wider. When the film becomes wider, it tends to have quality issues and longer lead times, making it difficult to meet the customer's desired quality and delivery schedule, which led to this consultation. In response, we introduced our large inflation machine with a maximum width of 3 meters, along with techniques such as manual processing and large square-bottom processing. We proposed various raw material blends and special manual processing to address the customer's challenges. Using a blade to open packaged food decreases usability, so until now, we had a structure that allowed users to open the NY bag by making notches on the side. However, due to high costs, we were looking for an alternative method. Therefore, we propose a bag that can be easily opened without the use of a blade by adding a special material to our three-layer co-extruded film. Through our unique processing and the know-how we have cultivated over the years, we have succeeded in significantly reducing costs while maintaining quality.
