In particular, expanded polypropylene is widely used as inner material for transport boxes due to its oil resistance and low tendency to crack or chip (for applications such as airbags, gasoline pumps, A/C units, etc.). Recently, we have also been supplying other materials, including combinations with steel carts, vacuum and pressure-formed products, and resin processed products. The "Hydroponic Panel SK <White/Black>" improves the growing environment for hydroponics. The black part does not allow light to pass through, suppressing algae growth in the tank. The strength of SK foam (compressive strength, bending strength) generally depends on density (expansion ratio), which determines the corresponding physical properties. Since the raw beads expand and fuse in all directions during molding, there is no directional strength. When used in formwork construction, if it is a sheet material, there is no need to worry about vertical or horizontal usage in relation to thicker edge materials, and at the same time, it has moderate flexibility, making it less likely to break when stepped on compared to other materials, especially when laid in uneven areas like large soil floors. The trend in strength properties shows flexibility and resilience, with high bending strength and low compressive strength. Additionally, the amount of water absorption during immersion and the hygroscopicity of water vapor are minimized, which helps suppress the accumulation of moisture inside the insulation material, a major factor that can lead to a decrease in insulation performance, thus enabling long-term maintenance of insulation performance.
