MacDermid Performance Solutions Japan Co., Ltd. is a materials manufacturer that handles surface treatment chemicals and conducts business with automotive parts manufacturers nationwide. At our Hiratsuka facility, our Industrial Solutions Division is engaged in decorative plating for automotive parts, which is one of our main businesses, as well as research and development. In response to business expansion, we have been carrying out construction to increase our production line area threefold, investing approximately 200 million yen. Recently, this construction has been completed, and on November 18, 2020, we held a completion ceremony with a Shinto priest invited from Hiratsuka Hachiman Shrine. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, our company has been able to steadily grow its performance, and we are delighted that the operation of this new line will contribute to the creation of new jobs in the local community. Moving forward, we are committed to further developing our business to contribute even more to the local area.
