This is a 5-megapixel camera compatible with Camera Link interface, using a 2/3-type CMOS image sensor (SONY/IMX264). It has a compact size of 29mm square and features such as external trigger, ROI, and subsampling. It allows switching between Base Configuration and 1tap to 3tap, and can read out 5 megapixels (2448x2048) at a high speed of 35.8fps (in 3tap mode). It provides an optimal solution for customers requiring high pixel count, high speed, and reliable image transmission for embedded cameras in factory automation.

This device adopts the SONY Pregius sensor, just like our products "VCC-12CL4M/VCC-12CL4R," and is a 5.01 million pixel camera with the same dimensions (55×55×25mm). If you want to see high-quality images and also aim for efficiency with high-speed processing... we can meet those demands! Despite its compact body, it is capable of image transfer at a maximum speed of 114fps (in Deca mode). Additionally, it is equipped with features such as fixed trigger shutter mode, pulse width trigger shutter mode, defective pixel correction, and white balance, making it ideal for board inspection, panel inspection, tiny component inspection, food and pharmaceutical inspection, dimensional inspection, and general foreign matter and appearance inspection. Furthermore, for customers seeking even faster processing, CIS offers not only monochrome and color cameras from the VCC-5CL4 series but also the VCC-5CL4MHS (monochrome high-speed) and VCC-5CL4RHS (color high-speed) cameras with a maximum frame rate of 163.4fps. The CIS Camera Link camera series has introduced new cameras with VGA and SXGA resolutions. Despite its compact size of 29mm square, the VCC-VCL5M can achieve high-speed image transfer at 578fps (3tap at VGA), while the VCC-SXCL5M can reach 136fps (3tap). Additionally, it features global trigger shutter operation, the ability to select the target screen area with ROI functionality, defect pixel correction, shading correction, one-push white balance, PoCL automatic switching, 1/2/3tap switching, 8bit/10bit/12bit output, cursor display, horizontal and vertical inversion, and pixel frequency switching (74.25MHz/64.969MHz/37.125MHz). These diverse features make it suitable for applications such as board inspection, AOI, PTP inspection, FPD inspection, inspection of tiny components, food and pharmaceutical inspection, dimensional inspection, foreign matter and appearance inspection, robot vision, and drone-mounted applications.
