Operation of Fiber Laser Welding Technology We have achieved fine welding joints between stainless steel pipe SUS304 and solid stainless steel WPB304. The tensile strength of the weld is 40 lbf, while the tensile strength of the pipe alone (19TW) is 60 lbf. Kaneko Medix has achieved stable manufacturing of SUS304 ultra-fine cannulas with diameters of φ0.18×φ0.09 (34G). In particular, we have improved the issue of internal surface closure after about a year since the start of manufacturing experiments, and we can now stably produce a grinding angle lancet of Min10° with a total length of up to 12mm. Additionally, we can also provide dual-end needles with flat polishing on the other end, making them suitable for subcutaneous drug injection fields such as insulin administration.
