If you have an aluminum mold from Proto Labs, you can use that mold for production. Of course, it won't be straightforward, but we will prepare the existing aluminum mold to be compatible with our system at a fixed, reassuring price. The basic estimated cost includes the basic fee to adapt the existing aluminum mold for production using our simplified mold system, plus the prototype cost for product inspection. Depending on the product shape, there may be additional costs for slide mechanisms, placement structures, or special structures. Additionally, material costs and mass production costs will be charged separately at actual cost. Please contact us first.
