If you have an aluminum mold from Protolabs, you can use that mold for production. Of course, it may not be straightforward, but we will adjust the existing aluminum mold to fit our system for a fixed, worry-free fee. The estimated cost includes the basic fee to adapt the existing aluminum mold for production using our simplified mold system, plus the prototype cost for product inspection. Depending on the product shape, additional costs may apply for features such as slides or special structures. Please contact us first.
