Previously limited to single-phase AC up to 200V, it is now possible to use single-phase and three-phase AC up to 600V, broadening its use cases in building management, factory environments, underwater and underground applications, as well as stadium facilities. In Helvetia, one of the system developments for improving agricultural efficiency, the rice paddy water level gauge improvement consortium project has been adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' "Fiscal Year 2021 Smart Agriculture Technology Development Support Project." Did you know that Okayama Prefecture, where our company is located, is known for its thriving fruit cultivation, such as peaches and grapes, while also producing high-quality rice? With its warm climate, abundant sunshine often referred to as the "Land of Sunshine," and the rich waters from the three major rivers, Okayama is known for producing high-quality rice. Asahi rice, which is beloved as Okayama's rice, has long been prized for sushi rice and is considered to be the root of Koshihikari rice. This time, we aim to realize a remote monitoring system utilizing IoT technology in collaboration with the Bichu Prefectural Agricultural and Forestry Department (Niimi Agricultural Extension Center) and others. Our activities will focus on developing a low-cost water level gauge specifically for measuring water levels in fields, investigating its usability, accuracy, durability, and other factors, and promoting the adoption of simple water level gauges based on the results.
