The difference between QDC (Quick Die Change) press molds and conventional press molds is that there are no components called die sets; instead, there are only location pin holes in the mold plate, making it very compact and cost-effective. Additionally, to maintain precision, it uses sub-guides, allowing it to accommodate thin materials with minimal clearance. By using this QDC press mold, the design and production time of molds are significantly reduced, and it also allows for easy attachment and detachment during press processing, enabling short lead-time production.
