Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce the equipment owned by Saitetsu Co., Ltd. for "spot welding of surface-treated steel sheets." With the aim of improving material availability, workability, corrosion resistance, and reducing costs, there has been an increasing demand for thick coated materials and lubricating resin-coated materials. Generally, spot welding is considered difficult (or impossible) for these materials, so we conducted research to make spot welding possible. As a result, we have become capable of welding various difficult-to-weld materials, thereby addressing the need for improved strength quality and cost reduction. 【Overview】 ■ Introduction period: March 2014 onwards ■ Background: To enable spot welding of materials that are generally considered difficult (or impossible) for spot welding ■ Capabilities: Spot welding of thick coated materials and lubricating resin-coated materials ■ Future developments: Proposals for improved strength quality and cost reduction *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
