The fan manufacturing company Ziehl-Abegg has expanded its manufacturing portfolio and accelerated production towards Industry 4.0. An initial investment of 28 million euros was made for the new factory in the Hohenlohe Business Park and for in-house resin production. The high-efficiency plug fan 'ZAbluefin' handled by Zeal Abegg Japan has received the "HVAC&R AWARD 2018 Special Jury Prize." This product is designed based on 3D biomimicry inspired by the fins of humpback whales, achieving a maximum efficiency of 79%. It also realizes a noise reduction of up to -7dB.
