Miwa Tech Co., Ltd. was established in 1932 as Miwa Shokai, a partnership company, with the purpose of supplying industrial rubber products to the former Oji Paper Company and other paper manufacturers. As the business expanded, it was reorganized into Miwa Shokai Co., Ltd. in 1949. Since then, starting from 1963, we have added to our product lineup rubber fenders, bollards, rubber sleeves for dredging, water-stopping boards for civil engineering, flexible rubber joints, and rubber products for office automation equipment for port facilities. Additionally, as a venture company, we have developed and sold rubber bearings for bridges, as well as IT-related products and materials for global environmental conservation, along with providing consulting services. In 1992, we changed our company name to Miwa Tech Co., Ltd. and became the core company of the MIWA Group.
