Yokohama Kasei Co., Ltd. has steadily progressed since its establishment in 1947 as a specialized retailer of industrial paints under the name "Yokohama Paint Co., Ltd." During this time, not only has the range of products expanded to include paints, adhesives, and raw materials, but in 1963, the company changed its name to "Yokohama Kasei Co., Ltd." and now operates with five main pillars: paints, chemical products, machinery, trade goods, and original products (Unilant). Additionally, we quickly focused on overseas trends, incorporating Western paint color measurement systems, and established Unilant Co., Ltd. in 1974, becoming a pioneer in the domestic paint can measurement and color matching systems in Japan. Meanwhile, we have entered into sales agreements with several major overseas manufacturers, facilitating the domestic sales of special products from abroad. In 1995, we established Shenzhen Yongang Metal Products Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China, as a related subsidiary, continuing our steady progress as an import-export trading company.
