Are you having trouble with the design of your transmission? Our company has a proven track record of creating visualization models for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, as well as industrial transmission cases, using transparent polycarbonate. Transparent and durable plastic material. In the world of mass production, transparent materials are abundant, but I believe many people in the prototyping industry think of transparent parts as acrylic. When acrylic material is machined, it becomes cloudy due to cutting marks, and to achieve transparency, manual polishing is required, which increases costs. As an alternative material, polycarbonate (PC) is often mentioned. It has very strong impact resistance and excellent properties in weather resistance and heat resistance. Its strength lies in its ability to withstand long-term use and outdoor conditions. Like acrylic, polycarbonate also becomes cloudy when machined, but by using chemicals to dissolve the surface, a certain degree of transparency can be achieved. Utilizing these characteristics, it is well-suited for visualization models of automotive parts that require impact resistance and heat resistance. Internal visualization allows for the actual operation verification of mechanical parts, as well as validation of fluid flow analysis for liquids and gases. This is a screw cutting process for aluminum using an angular cutter. By using an angular cutter, it is possible to cut external threads on a machining center. This is a sample of an insert color pressed into PPS-GF40%. It is made using thermal pressing due to its flame-retardant properties and excellent strength. After machining, inserting a metal insert nut or color can provide strength in areas used for screws and bolts. Since plastic is relatively soft, repeatedly tightening and loosening screws can cause the threads to strip. Inserting an insert is effective for products that are used repeatedly.
