Sanyo Corporation started with a small part called "packing." When connecting pipes to guide river water for domestic use, "packing" plays an important role in preventing precious water from leaking, even though it is not often seen. In urban spaces and industrial complexes, various sizes of pipes are intricately laid out to transport water, air, oil, gas, and chemical liquids, with packing used at their joints. Additionally, there are valves and measuring instruments to control the flow according to its purpose. Currently, the range of products derived from that "packing" has expanded, including items assembled or unitized from rubber, resin, and metal, providing numerous products to various industries. Sanyo has contributed broadly as a foundation for new technologies aimed at the future.
